Drivers to face tougher phone lawsAustralia already has strict laws surround mobile phone usage while driving but one organisation is calling for a bigger crackdown, claiming current rules are outdated. Won’t make any difference, people will always take chances. If they want to 'crack down' then forget driving points loss for breaches with a phone, pass a law to make ISPs & Telcos suspend their phone and data for a couple of months. That would have MUCH more effect as a deterrent. How the F do we use a GPS in a car then ? Say we need to change to a destination.
