Milo Yiannopoulos and his touring manager attempted to use their network of powerful conservatives to lobby the Morrison government to overturn a visa ban.

The revelations are contained in an explosive transcript of WhatsApp messages Mr Yiannopoulos intends to file today as part of a court action taken by celebrity agent Max Markson against former tour promoter Damien Costas. “Calling Alan [Jones] tomorrow. I’ll plead. I know he will raise hell if I appeal directly to him,” Mr Yiannopoulos replied on February 2.“And Alan Jones is going to war behind the scenes.”The Morrison government told Mr Yiannopoulos on March 6 that his application had been rejected, but it was personally approved by Immigration Minister David Coleman only days later.

Mr Yiannopoulos' previous tour left Victoria Police with a $50,000 crowd control bill after clashes outside his event. “But to be fair, he was also the minister back then … that’s a lefty called Coleman now. We’re all working as hard as we can, Alan Jones has also been in his ear,” he wrote. “On many things in relation to me people are prone to speak in rather colourful and exaggerated language ... I think the notion of ‘going to war’ is more than exaggerated and a little colourful,” he said.

Who cares Get him off!!

Oh course he wasn't going to go away quietly, let's see how many high profile people back him, name them.

So what?

Banning Milo is a big mistake for Australia - free speech is dead & buried this is going to have a backlash & cause more divisiveness- allow people to make their argument & then counter it with solid argument if you disagree- policing free speech is patronising in a democracy

Oh yeah.... with friends like these etc etc etc...

Fascist and misogynist. Fails the character test. Witty ironic pseudo intellectual delivery is just the new face of extremist right hate ideology.

When Australia bans free speech we all lose! Who determines what is hate speech. The left thinks any speech that does fit into their agenda is hate speech. Don’t let the left shutdown normal debate on difficult topics. auspol FreeSpeech

Morrison government considers Milo Yiannopoulos ban in wake of Christchurch massacreEXCLUSIVE The right-winger posted to claim assaults like the one in Christchurch happen because the establishment 'mollycoddles extremist leftism and barbaric, alien religious cultures'. Please don't give this sort of thing oxygen. Seeing it will only aggravate the grief of the victims and their families, and the shame of every decent Australian. Discuss it in the courts, not the newspapers. Hey ScottMorrisonMP you better ban him now and forever or anyone like him ... These savages are dangerous viruses and diseases to our community. Be a descent one and ban him now That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life. The hard Right are the ones who are all about bigotry & white supremacy. Why even use that rubbish as a headline ?!? 😡

Milo Yiannopoulos banned from entering AustraliaAustralia's immigration minister David Coleman condemns Yiannopoulos's remarks about the Christchurch mosque attacks as appalling in a blow to the controversial figure's attempt to make a return in 2019. I guess you don't have to be made of Milo. Censorship and the soft bigotry of low expectations. Letting the fools speak and move freely is the best way to get the requisite intelligence needed to undermine them. Brilliant. TimesUp
