The Australian Energy Regular announced on Tuesday the majority of households could see electricity price reductions of between 0.4 to 7.1 per cent from July 1.
The majority of small business could also see power bills fall between 0.3 and 9.7 per cent, but others could face a small rise of roughly 0.7 per cent depending on their region. The AER made the announcement as part of its draft determination of the Default Market Offer for electricity prices for 2024-2025.
