German Chancellor Angela Merkel says Europe needs to push back against the far right, amid a political crisis that has claimed Austria's far-right governing coalition partner.

It's surprising to hear Steve Bannon claim Europe's populist nationalist parties"feel alone". They might've kept their distance in the past, but recently they've not only accepted their commonalities but proudly displayed them, writes Duncan McDonnell.

He discussed rules on party financing and how to work around them, although he also insisted on having to act legally."In the cold light of day, my remarks were catastrophic and exceedingly embarrassing." "It was typical alcohol-fuelled macho behaviour in which, yes, I also wanted to impress the attractive female host and I behaved like a bragging teenager," he said.

It has always ended well when a German leader has demanded other countries in Europe bend to their will.

Seems Merkel has lost touch with reality. Her downfall will be attributed to and identified by one word, immigration.

Well stop becoming so far left, they are just a reaction to the left becoming more and more Marxist.

We are seeing Germany fall.

The rise of the right wing is inevitable in the First Nations of Europe & in their First Europeans as with BREXIT by the First Britons against the tide of millions of foreign white European settlers & migrants. Native Austrians also do not want to be replaced!

‘Australian Government falls’ ? Come on now ABCaustralia don’t be a sore looser.

So does Australia!
