Mmm premiums through the roof with shitty protection over private data! Where did the money go Medibank

I blame the government for taking advice on its national cyber defence strategy from an Australian intelligence community run by the NSA in America. We need EU GDPR standards to protect individual privacy pronto.

My heart goes to the patients whose data is lost & who face years of agony, probably always having to watch their backs should any misuse of that data happen. R there any lessons to what anyone shall b doing to prevent a repeat of what happened here?

medibank management should be stripped of any entitlement due to negligence towards customers and shareholders. They worked as a trustee for the data they lost.Luckily it’s a hacker that got the data and told us about. Not government using them in a few years time out of the blue

They must explain irrespective of the behaviour of the hackers.

This’ll be good. They’ll come up with some bullshit designed to cover their incompetent, uncommitted arses in the hope it just fades away medibank
