Media ‘gushing’ over ‘beloved’ Joe Biden amid G7 Summit | Sky News Australia

According to CNN, US President Joe Biden is “stepping onto the world stage for the first time as president – an equal to foreign leaders”. Yet when Donald Trump attended the G7, CNN reported it as “G6 versus one”.

Mr Houghton said CNN portrayed Joe Biden’s attendance as “momentous” and was “trying to give the illusion that he doesn’t have any disputes” with any of the other national leaders. The Menzies Research Centre’s Nick Cater noted there are “considerable question marks” over Biden’s foreign affairs policy. “But it was the one area in fact in which Donald Trump did very well,” he said.
