Former NSW treasurer Matt Kean has delivered a touching valedictory speech in parliament in which he gave special mention to former premier Gladys Berejiklian.
“I still regard what happened to her as a grave injustice that denied the state of one of its finest premiers and leaders,” he said. Last year in June the ICAC delivered its report after an extensive 18-month investigation into funding decisions made by Ms Berejiklian in the electorate of Wagga Wagga, which was represented by Liberal MP and her then-boyfriend Daryl Maguire.
