CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski it will be interesting to see how the markets perform in the aftermath of the U.S. Federal Reserve’s Jackson Hole Economic Symposium.

“Last night there was no signs of anxiety – we saw US markets actually finish around their best levels of the session,”

he said.“Interesting to note there was a drop in long-term interest rates – so moving back towards that three per cent mark.”
