Back-to-back long weekends bring more COVID-19 into WA's major holiday destinations, but it's not deterring crowds flocking to the state's biggest surfing event.

The ABC understands a number of people who attended the Out of the Woods music festival in Busselton last weekend are now in isolation.Despite this, hundreds of people have gathered to watch the Margaret River Pro, which attracts some of the world's best surfers including American Kelly Slater and Australia's own Stephanie Gilmore.

This chart is absolutely shocking ...... All-cause mortality, the black line is the total number of deaths, which rises from October 2021 with a 15% increase, directly in line with the vaccine rollout ...... Eventually peaking in January 2022 total deaths increase by over 30%.

I hope they keep their masks on in the line up.
