A man’s nose was bitten off during a wild brawl on a British budget airline flight, apparently sparked by a woman not wearing shoes.

Passengers on the Ryanair jet can be heard shouting and screaming as cabin crew struggled to stop two men fighting in footage taken on the plane. The incident took place on Saturday during the flight from Glasgow Prestwick Airport to the Spanish holiday island of Tenerife, reports the Mirror. Video shows the men trading punches and grabbing each other as shocked passengers, including children, look on.

At the end of the footage, a man is shown with a blood-splattered face walking down the aisle escorted by staff.He said: "It all started over a woman not wearing her shoes on the flight going to the toilet, and a very drunk man pulled her up about it, saying that someone would stand on her toes. Then the woman's boyfriend stepped in and tried to defuse the situation.
