Businesses have until September 30 to sign up for boosted apprenticeship wage subsidy | Sky News AustraliaEmployment Minister Michaelia Cash says any business across Australia can now sign up apprentices and get a 12-month wage subsidy until September 30 after the government uncapped the program. \n\nMs Cash thanked employers for helping the government meet its target of getting 100,000 new apprentices to commence under the Boosting Apprenticeship Commencement wage subsidy announced last year. \n\n“We are now removing the cap on the program and we are extending it out so any business which signs up a new apprentice up until September 30 this year will now get a full 12 months of the 50 per cent wage subsidy,” she said. \n\n“And for those who did the right thing and they assisted us getting those 100,000 apprentices on the job … their apprenticeship wage subsidy will also be turned into a full 12-month wage subsidy.\n\n“That’s an additional $1.2 billion the Morrison government is investing in ensuring that we have that skilled pipeline to keep Australia going”.\n Did she mention her role in the CabinetRapist coverup?
