A man who lost two toes in a crocodile attack south of Darwin says he stepped on the animal's head thinking it was a log.He said the attack happened in water that "wasn't even above my knees"Leroy Daly, 28, who lives in the town of Adelaide River, about 112 kilometres south of Darwin, said he was shooting magpie geese with his family before the attack on Tuesday afternoon.

During the hunt, on the Litchfield cattle station off the Daly River, Mr Daly said he spotted some fallen magpie geese floating in a nearby dam at about 3:00pm and he went to collect them with his sister's partner, firing a warning shot in advance."So we walked in and then I stepped on [the crocodile's] head — I thought it was a log actually — and then it tried dragging me under.Mr Daly said he managed to wrench his foot from the crocodile's jaws.

Mr Daly was rushed to Adelaide River health clinic at about 6:00pm on Tuesday night with injuries to his toes."Just imagine losing your pinky toe and not having it, and your middle toe."The incident came three months after a crocodile measuring up to five metresThe attack left a 32-year-old New South Wales man with minor injuries.

Millions of Australians are in lockdown because of these people that didn’t heed the message in March 2020, or went overseas during a pandemic for selfish reasons. Get out of it! “Stranded” in Bali. It’s been almost two years of this pandemic. They weren’t stranded they chose to stay there!! And now that things get bad there they come crawling home. If only this story was about Afghanistan's who's lives are in danger because they worked for Australia .
