NSW Police today said witnesses told them the driver of another car – a Toyota Echo – allegedly left the scene before speaking with major crash detectives.A 53-year-old man is accused of changing lanes and then stopping on the motorway, causing other vehicles to crash into each other.
During an investigation into the crash, a 53-year-old man was arrested about 6.15pm yesterday after attending St Marys Police Station. Authorities allege the crash was caused after the driver of the Toyota Echo changed lanes on the M4 and then stopped – causing multiple other cars to crash into each other.
