Police have made a breakthrough in the investigation of the 2007 killing of Melbourne mother of three Cindy Crossthwaite, charging a 55-year-old man with murder.A 55-year-old Footscray man was today charged with one count of murderThe Footscray man was arrested at a business in Tottenham, in Melbourne's west, about 8:00am.He was due to face the Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
Ms Crossthwaite was found dead by her father in her Melton South home just after 4:00pm on June 20, 2007.Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
