Tasmanian Police on Thursday afternoon revealed a 36-year-old Scottsdale man had now been taken into custody.Northern District Commander Kate Chambers said police were working closely with the teenager’s family.
“As I have said previously, we will not rest until we have answers. This latest development is hopefully another step toward having those answers,” she said in a statement. “Once again I’d like to thank everyone that has been involved in this long and complex inquiry, as well as the Tasmanian community for its understanding and support throughout this major investigation.”Footage captured the 14-year-old walking along Henry Street the night she disappeared.
