A man and woman have been charged with drug trafficking offences after they were found unconscious in a car south-west of Melbourne. 9News

Police were called to do a welfare check after the man and woman were found by a member of the public, passed out in a silver Commodore with the engine running, on Ranfurlie Avenue, Point Cook just after 6am yesterday.

Police searched the car and allegedly found 33 grams of methamphetamine, 233 grams of GHB, 1.7 grams of ecstasy, as well as stolen items and cash.
