A long-term adviser to Bill and Hillary Clinton has warned President Joe Biden not to"demonise" Trump supporters during the election campaign, as he revealed what will decide the 2024 election.
Speaking to Sky News Australia on Tuesday, Mr Kennedy said both Biden and Trump would attempt to turn the 2024 presidential election into a referendum on their opponent. “He draws energy from crowds and show that he has the vitality and the optimism to be a great president. So that would be his mission.
“With every vote, you may lose on the left, you can gain a couple in the middle, which is where he needs to go to get a majority of support,” he said. Then, during the 2000 presidential campaign between Gore and George W Bush, he was involved in one of the closest elections in history, with the Texan governor's victory in Florida coming down to just 537 votes.
