I'm Simon Smale and I'm looking forward to being with you this morning for what could be a pivotal moment for Australia at this year's tournament - even though the Wallabies are not playing.
If Portugal pull off a massive upset then the Wallabies will be the beneficiaries, falling into a quarterfinal date with England next Monday morning at 2am AEDT in Marseille. What? I hear you cry? I thought the Wallabies were done? Well, not quite. But it will take something of a miracle akin to the famous Milagre do Sol of 1917 in order for it to happen.
