Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith resume their 141-run partnership as Australia looks to pile on the runs on the second day of the first Test against the West Indies at Perth Stadium. Follow all the action in our live blog.

Yesterday was sunny, hot and a bit uncomfortable for the players in the middle.The Bureau of Meteorology says we can expect a high of 25 today, overcast and, as Fox Sports reported a couple of minutes ago, there have been a couple of spots of rain knocking about.

Shouldn't be enough to delay the day's play though , but it might impact the conditions out there in the middle and, crucially, for the ball off the pitch.
