Russia wants to capture wounded fighters in Mariupol, local governor says
A Ukrainian governor says Russia is preventing wounded Ukrainian fighters from being evacuated from a steel plant in Mariupol because it wants to capture them. Hundreds of fighters and civilians are holed up in the Azovstal steel works in Mariupol as Russian forces continue to surround the plant. Pavlo Kyrylenko, governor of the Donetsk region, said Russia is not agreeing to evacuate anyone, not even wounded troops.
"They [want to] use the opportunity to capture the defenders of Mariupol, one of the main [elements] of whom are the... Azov regiment," Mr Kyrylenko said.Share post

It is obvious that they can’t be allowed to just ‘evacuate’! This is war. Injured soldiers can’t just be evacuated - the will have to surrender. Russia do in fact provide medical treatment to Ukranian soldiers who surrender.
Yeh the video footage from the Russian humanitarian brigade and the stories from locals in Mariupol tell a VERY different story. The Nazi regime of Ukraine (with weapons from NATO and US) are killing indiscriminately and blaming Russia.
