Live: PM won't rule out further COVID-19 restrictions for Victoria

Good morning! Firstly, thank you for this blog.....it has kept me sane all this time with factual news mixed with just the right amount of humour! I just wanted to touch on mask wearing in regional Victoria. I live in an area where we are still allowed up to 5 visitors in our house - so if people were to visit us as of Monday, are they still required to wear a mask once inside or house, or can it be removed? I am assuming it is the former but never hurts to ask.

As Daniel Andrews pointed out yesterday, house calls are actually a far riskier situation, statistically speaking, than gatherings in pubs etc. I suspect it's because people don't follow social distancing rules as closely.

Hopefully our constitution and high court are as robust as the US and rule that it is illegal and immoral for the state to lock us down indefinitely under the pretence of “emergency”. Even emergencies need an end date

Why would you ask him? 🤔 Experts are saying the courts will open up WA restrictions. And the premier's control their states and so they should. Of course he can't rule out further restrictions it is not up to him. It is up to Dan for Vic and the courts for WA.
