MORNING BRIEFING: Forecasts for plummeting temperatures and snow showers across NSW, while a man is in serious but stable condition after being stabbed in the stomach in Kingsgrove.

Dig out those winter woollies today as a cold front is bringing gusty winds across NSW and ACT,Snow showers were forecast to hit the Southern Tablelands and alpine areas while some elevated parts in the western Central Tablelands can expect light snow.Dry air and fresh winds behind the cold front will make it feel substantially colder than the actual air temperature especially if you are not in the sun.

Given that most of Sydney has been recording above-average temperatures so far this month — by almost three degrees — I would suggest the main reason it's going to feel so cold today is our lack of acclimatisation. When you consider the coldest May day on record is 11.3 degrees and we are heading for 21 today and Saturday, the front isn't packing all that much punch — but we will notice it once it passes through due to the wind chill.

Rob Oakeshott says he'll take Scott Morrison's phone call. It’s normal with local soccer clubs these days with racism just ask ClubPanania they are experts in it! Yet BankstownFA do nothing about it. Haters destroy our society. So 'kids' shit stirring 'kids', that has always been normal and has never been acceptable. Even if you are a clone of such infantile trolls they will confect a difference just to tease you over it, and if you let them affect you then it is you who is rewarding their sociopathy.

NSW MP Jihad Dib says daughter bullied for being Muslim and called 'disgusting'Jihad Dib says the rise in hate speech needs to be addressed after his 15-year-old daughter and another player were targetted with racial taunts during a weekend soccer match. It's taken 15 years to realise that kids say hurtful things, welcome to parenting. Condemn it sure, support your daughter, lodge a formal complaint, but don't go full simpleton and try to extrapolate your daughter's incident as some sinister evil of Australian society, it's not. Its nothing new, been happening for generations. Made me work harder and helped me learn who I wanted and should be friends with. Simple fact of life, winners, losers, bullied, bullys. Get over it, teach your kids the skills to master their life not blame everyone else for whatever happens to them. You particularly will never be free of it while Islam is the terrorist's favourite religion so fix that first.

Drugged? Nice try. They're not even impaired. Tired reading the same intentional misinformation. It is more likely Politicians & Police doing BigAlcohol's work & competitors are being controlled. The usual harsher penalties approach with the usual assumption that drug detection = impairment with no attempt to prove it.
