Sydney stabbing accused Mert Ney faces courtThe man accused of going on a deadly stabbing rampage in central Sydney on Tuesday will defend the charges laid against him on the grounds of mental illness, his lawyer says. Should rot in jail. He may be crazy but that killing was premeditated as he arranged the appointment. So he is criminally insane and should never be released, so why delay the inevitable? Is he such a coward that he can't face up to his own actions? He attacked women and ran from men.

A chilling link in lone attacks is hiding in plain sightIn the aftermath of the stabbings in Sydney, there was speculation about terrorism, religion and mental illness, but any links with domestic violence were downplayed again. I'm glad the ABC has stated this is an opinion only and not fact. Thank you. You still overlook the most important factor in peoples lives, their beliefs, and their faith. Extreme violence against the most vulnerable children is still approved by powerful religious leaders, as it has been for centuries. Women are often treated like second class citizens.

'It's a coward act': Latrell Mitchell vows to keep shaming racistsLatrell Mitchell got the backing of Adam Goodes after he shared a racist online slur against him and the Sydney Roosters star vows to keep fighting abuse. There is no doubt he is a great League player but if Greg Inglis could take him under his wing and change his cocky attitude I think he could be better in so many ways because it’s how he presents himself on the field and to other players that makes me not like him. Arrogant. The worst possible method of dealing with online trolls is to give them massive amounts of exposure which is exactly what they want. Block and keep scrolling, never acknowledge them and NEVER act like a cry baby by going to the media with nasty online comments. It's childish.
