MORNING BRIEFING: Choice found retailers preyed on consumer fears they would lose access to food by increasing the price of white goods and essential items as the coronavirus crisis hit Australia.

The consumer advocacy group Choice has found the price of some white goods and essential items soared at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

This is disgraceful to see what was felt now borne out that prices were indeed higher. Funny too that there were no sales in supermarkets or many other shops. Except these companies make so much profit, year after year. So I won’t spend.
