The defamation payment awarded to Australian actor Geoffrey Rush will be challenged today in the Federal Court in Sydney.

The appeal will be heard before a three-judge panel of Richard White, Jacqueline Gleeson and Michael Wheelahan.The Greens have called to"end the Local Schools Local Decisions experiment", a funding program for public schools, after $1.3 billion in unspent funds accumulated in 2019.
