MORNING BRIEFING: Customers from a barber shop in Warriewood shopping centre must present for testing after a positive COVID-19 case attended the venue a week ago.

A positive case attended the barber within Warriewood Square shopping centre.

Other venues in the shopping centre were already on alert, including Woolworths, Rebel Sport, Coles and Aldi. NSW Opposition finance spokesman Daniel Mookhey labelled it an expensive "exercise in naval gazing" and questioned why an "exorbitant rate" was being paid to a firm when icare should be bring in new leadership.

Four ambulance stations, including the busy Penrith and Blacktown stations, were also closed for several hours for cleaning.
