MORNING BRIEFING: The list of venues a Sydney man visited while unknowingly infectious with COVID-19 is growing and virus fragments have been found in an inner west wastewater treatment facility.

The man visited the Royal Sydney Golf Club in Rose Bay on May 3.

The catchment takes sewage from the inner west suburbs of Dulwich Hill, Marrickville, Summer Hill, Lewisham, Ashfield, Haberfield, Petersham, Lilyfield and Leichhardt. All exposure sites are designated as 'tier one' which means people must notify the health department if they went to an exposure site and must get tested, isolate and quarantine for 14 days.
