I may have missed something, but why is SA opening up Pfizer for over 60s? I can just see this causing confusion and frustration as the advice in other states is that over 60s should be getting AZ!A few days ago Chief Public Health Officeracknowledged there had been some hesitancy amongst people aged 60 and over about receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.
"It's very pleasing to see eligibility open up to allow more people to get vaccinated and particularly to give choice to older South Australians," she said., with just over 40 per cent of 60 to 69-year-olds fully vaccinated.thank all of this age group who have received AstraZeneca as soon as they couldunvaccinated, particularly in that age group, remain vulnerable to COVID-19
and as many are aware, at some point soon we are looking to lift border restrictions with other jurisdictions." 59.06 per cent of South Australians are partially vaccinated while 40.39 per cent are fully vaccinated.
