Prime Minister Scott Morrison has warned that Australia's COVID-19 recovery remains at risk, following the release of his government's third Federal Budget earlier this week.
He said the budget was a plan to secure Australia's recovery, but claimed that pursuing alternative paths could topple the economy."We know that everything Australians have worked so hard for over the last 18 months, and the big decisions that have had to be made, that the big gains can be lost with the wrong decisions, if we lose our nerve."
The Coalition has emphasised its tax cuts in the budget after it extended the same measure announced last year, which retained the low- and middle-income tax offset that directly impacts 10.2 million Australians."We are the party of lower taxes, and in this Budget we set this out again," he said.
No international travel into Australia! No one in or out until this virus is gone, or is under control and no longer a threat to our citizens! Protect Australian Citizens first! The COVID virus strain in India could wipe all Australians out!
To STOP COVID, THEN STOP INTERNATIONAL travellers into Australia! DON'T BRING THE VIRUS INTO AUSTRALIA! You quarantine new arrivals only to find that after 2 weeks they leave, join the community then later test positive! 2 wks quarantine obviously isn't enough time!

See, this is ridiculous. If we’re going to bring these people to Australia now, then what was the point of the 4 month period of isolation last year?
So what? I wonder how sick people are treated at our hotels. They just stay in their rooms having no treatment but all survived
This is no surprise, no doubt some will claim the delay in repatriation caused these people to become infected however I'd suggest it was willingly travelling to a non covid-safe country that did it.
Everyone in India will contact covid sooner or later. It's inevitable.

Coming back in the midst of pandemic isn’t wise at all. Not only you risk infecting your loved ones in Australia you also risk infecting the community, old & young. If one choose to leave the country I’m sure he/she has considered all consequences before making the decision.
This is EXACTLY why the government doesn't want to enable repatriation protocal from a serious public health hazard area to enter Aus! It's not political, it's not racist, it's not unconstitutional, it is a hard and difficult desission... ITS A PANDEMIC. Get really SERIOUS !

Covid restrictions since April 2020. Why did they travel? They knew the risks. I thought we were not allowed to leave Australia since April 2020. Sorry please don’t bring Covid back. We paid the price of lockdown, don’t need another lockdown

There is no credibility of these rapid so called tests for covid. Its well documented that a person who is gIven a positive test will likely to get a negative result for a second test performed even within couple of hours. Can be conspiracy. Political propaganda
