Following the second fatal accident, US authorities are reviewing whether enough was done to ensure the plane was safe to fly, while attention has also focused on the training of the Lion Air crew and whether aeroplane manuals are clear enough.The captain was at the controls of Lion Air flight JT610 when the near-new jet took off from Jakarta, and the first officer was handling the radio, according to a preliminary report issued in November.
Boeing's newest version of its most popular plane, the 737 MAX, is again in the spotlight after another deadly crash minutes after take-off. For the next nine minutes, the jet warned pilots it was in a stall and pushed the nose down in response, the report showed. A stall is when the airflow over a plane's wings is too weak to generate lift and keep it flying.

When all else fails go to the user manual and pray. Unimaginable. Boeing will pay for this. They knew the MCAS problem after the Lion Air black box's were determined and desperately kept it low key. Pilots had no chance against something they knew nothing about! 🌎
The fact they were scouring handbooks points to them being under-trained. & no one wants to hear a Pilot calling in divine intervention. So prayers have no place in the Cockpit! & maybe people who have such strong religious feelings shouldn’t be Pilots! 🙄
