The Australian’s National Editor Dennis Shanahan says raising wages is “absolutely fundamental” to what Labor wants to do and what it must do to keep its political promises.

“What we have to remember is for the last three elections Labor has been campaigning for lifting wages,” he told Sky News host Chris Smith.
