Lance Armstrong has been accused of being a bully to get what he wanted, no more so than in one moment broadcast across the world.

As Simeoni attempted to escape the peloton, Armstrong picked up the pace and chased him down.

“The goddamn thing about it is that it’s on international television,” he said. “It was horrible and should have been embarrassing to Lance Armstrong but he was at a point in his life where he was getting away with stuff.” O’Reilly, who worked with the riders, had intimate knowledge of doping within cycling and wanted to fire a shot at the governing body, the UCI.

In a testimony, he called her a “whore”, something he said in the documentary that “there’s hard to be worst than that” because he was “in full attack mode”.But after his fall from grace, Armstrong went to see Simeoni.
