EXCLUSIVE | Tens of thousands more skilled migrants will arrive in Australia from next year, as the Albanese government moves to fill chronic labour shortages by recognising trades and qualifications from more countries | Gallo_Ways

, O’Connor said “we do have to be more sophisticated in measuring people’s competencies” from overseas.

But he insisted standards would not be dropped, highlighting aged care as an area where “we need to be serious about the integrity of people’s capabilities”. “There isn’t a sector or professional trade where you could say that we’ve got an optimal supply. It’s quite remarkable where we find ourselves.”Despite the “big job” ahead, O’Connor said he was optimistic about getting something done because there was a “resolve” from unions, employer groups and the Labor government to address the crisis.

O’Connor also highlighted more support for energy and climate jobs, getting women into male-dominated industries and vice versa and reversing the decline in apprenticeship completion rates.

Gallo_Ways The population ponzi scheme rolls on

Gallo_Ways I think population should be set as a percentage for population growth. The Australian pop should grow at 1.6%, made up with natural and immigration. Live how the RBA has an inflation target

Gallo_Ways Why can't those who are on benefits fill these positions? Surely it can be done!!

Gallo_Ways What are we doing to help our youth get the education and skills they need to work in jobs that are not casual?

Gallo_Ways At what population will we have enough workers?

Gallo_Ways You just got in I know any chance homeless & people that cant find reliable accommodation is fixed first start in NTH OLD 3 levels of goverment haven't heard or seen them supporting in person finding help for them maybe a bed in there air-con office with toilet shower.

Gallo_Ways Cheap labour

Gallo_Ways Here we go the never ending cycle of population growth. It’s like driving faster to get there before you run out of petrol.

Gallo_Ways No power policy, No housing policy, should be interesting 🤔

Gallo_Ways TERRORISM WAR FULL FORCE ATTACKS AGAINST AUSTRALIA FROM THE TOP INCORPORATION WAR CRIMINALS-DMAN MEDIA TO HELL-YOUR THE ENEMIES HERE SINCE 1990 INCORPORATION WAR CRIMES,ENEMIES OVERTHROWN OUR PARLIAMENT,AEC ELEC FRAUD FAILURE TO REPORT INFILTRATION TO DEFENCE! 32 yrs a WAR ZONE!

Gallo_Ways We have a housing crisis in Australia and Labor want to import more people? So much for the party that cares.

Gallo_Ways Albo is a traitor to those that voted him in.

Gallo_Ways Lol, all you folk that voted for Labor are going to see your wages diminished due to the increase in migration numbers.

Gallo_Ways Define “ skilled”Government should be investing heavily in the trades making a four year apprenticeships maximum three years, two for painting, plastering, tiling. flooding the market with “ skilled” immigrants = lower living standards and reduce employment for school leavers.

Gallo_Ways Australia immigration must publish all visas/companies/salary data in real time so that Australians can apply to those jobs.

Gallo_Ways Dropping standards to keep the ponzi alive. Thats what happens with ponzis. You have to keep lowering the bar.

Gallo_Ways There is no shortage in labour There is a shortage in slave labour since the departure of temporary residents

Gallo_Ways Nothing more than a Taxpayer funded Labor vote Ponzi scheme, dressed as economic sugar. Disastrous. This MUST be democratically scrutinised - far more insidious than pork barrelling.

sir_alex52 Gallo_Ways Should we simply relocate everyone in Taiwan to regional Australia?

Gallo_Ways Disgusting bullshit. Isn't the rental market entirely stuffed? Wages are just barely finally beginning to rise in workers favour. Lets quash that quick fast.

Gallo_Ways The invasion never ends….

Gallo_Ways PeterDutton_MP what’s your position on this?

Gallo_Ways Anything to keep wages low and housing market pumped up with over population. It doesn’t grow the economy- it just adds stress to existing stretched services and infrastructure 🤷‍♂️

Gallo_Ways Only 30% of pre covid intake of 160k are 'skilled', mostly low skilled, the balance are dependants, family reunions including pension aged migrants. Importing 1,000 patients : 1 doctor is why we're in this mess.

Gallo_Ways Most Australians would, I imagine, oppose this decision. Yet the major parties work together to increase immigration and in doing so drive down wages, worsen the housing crisis, and then demonise anyone who speaks out against their plan.

Gallo_Ways Clearly showing that the people in media have NO self esteem. They know putting Aussie worker back will assist. Yet do nothing. People, this prostitution behaviour doing what ever for who pays. Really who wants this life?

Gallo_Ways Labor quickly back into the groove. Selling out Australian workers. The risk of pay rises was too great. Price gouging, and record profit for donors. Low wages and insecurity for workers. They lied. auspol

Gallo_Ways More 'skilled' migrants to be exploited by Uber. There is no labour shortage - there's a fair wage shortage, and a housing shortage. And this will make both worse.

Gallo_Ways What a pity so many Australians would rather not work.

Gallo_Ways There is a Scottish tradesman and his family who have been working here, on 457 visas, Albanese is actually deporting. Not from Sari Lanka, appears to be the issue.

Gallo_Ways In other words, industry demands access to cheap, exploitable workers. Feckless policy Labor!

Gallo_Ways For Aussies or Kiwis working a cleaning job, it's probably only job they can get, for many migrants it's because their skills and education are not recognised in Australia ?

Gallo_Ways So anyone considering studying engineering, accounting or architecture, etc. might as well give up now. What are the chances the cap won't be lifted even more if business demands it? Let's see all the Labor acolytes defend this one. auspol

Gallo_Ways There are many migrants working low paid jobs in Australia that are far more educated and skilled than their managers because their skills and qualifications not recognised ?

Gallo_Ways Skills assessments have been used as blocking tool and money grab for unnecessary further education in Australia ?

Gallo_Ways If this is a favour for donors who want cheap labour, no justification needed by AustralianLabor If this is supposed to be good policy, where’s the list of occupations we can’t fill locally? Shouldn’t all Aus year 12 students have access to this list? Or don’t they matter?

Gallo_Ways Just make Australia part of India

Gallo_Ways Lazy and harmful pollie scum....

Gallo_Ways mmm... ok... and where exactly will all these thousands of people live? 🙄 pushing up rental prices so less Australians can afford roofs over their heads i guess... and what happened to training initiatives to enable Australians to get those jobs 🤔

Gallo_Ways well there goes the idea of training locals to fill the jobs.

Gallo_Ways Imagine the unions agreeing to the Liberals doing this 🙄

Gallo_Ways Amazing how after 25 years of mass immigration, Australia now has a 'skills shortage'. It's almost as if the immigrants are less productive than Australians.

Gallo_Ways Ask Albo if he will bow down to the AWU and tie immigration to union membership.

‘Boggles the mind’: Americans concerned over more IRS agentsCentre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker says it “boggles the mind” for the Biden administration to potentially hire thousands of IRS agents. Mr Hinderaker said lots of Americans are concerned the Biden administration wants to “go after” conservative non-for-profits. “The administration contemplates that these 87,000 new agents are going to bring in many, many tens of billions of dollars in new tax revenue,” he told Sky News Australia. “87,000 IRS agents have the potential to do a lot of mischief.” Biden is an enemy of Western Civilisation. It’s about time we admitted that to ourselves. According to tax fraud statistics, about one in every six dollars owed in federal taxes goes unpaid. Every year the amount of unpaid taxes is about three-quarters the size of the entire annual federal budget deficit. Conservatives are so used to getting tax breaks paying taxes boggles their minds
