Solar panels roughly halved my electricity bill, despite increases in the power I do pay for. A battery and an EV will further reduce my electric use and eliminate petrol usage. Maybe Sky News needs to stop parroting the right and their biased views on energy.

wrong. high power prices are due to coal and gas and profiteering of coal and gas companies. the only reprieve is the small amount of renewables we have in NSW. look at WA and SA where renewables are high and coal and gas exports are capped.
