Sky News host Sharri Markson says Labor knew they could not make the cost-of-living election promise and yet they did so regardless.

“Labor’s election promises, they couldn’t have been more clear cut ‘we will bring down the cost-of-living’ and no one

blames Labor entirely … but they knew when they made that promise, that they couldn’t make that promise,” Ms Markson said.

Labor ‘talks a big game’ on universal healthcare but doesn’t ‘follow through’There's a “world of difference” between having universal access to healthcare as a principle and delivering it in practice, says Sky News host Amanda Stoker. “Labor talks a lot about universal healthcare,” she said. “But the dysfunctional way that they run hospitals, kowtow to unions and their non-delivery of promises means that ... too many people are dying on waiting lists, or queued in an ambulance waiting to get help in an over-full hospital, or they're languishing in a resort that's been comandeered to make for a makeshift ward. “Labor talk a big game, but they just don't follow through.”
