Minerals Council of Australia CEO Tania Constable says the Labor government has “got it wrong” with the new mining tax policy.

“We’re saying split the bill, put through the goods aspects of the bill that relate to what is the supported bargaining stream – low-income worker and government employees,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“And then leave the rest to next year so that the politicians involved and business have time to reflect and can get it right.”
