The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says the weapons purchases by Labor are “better” than the ones purchased by the previous government.

“They’re real weapons, I’ve been calling for sea mines for literally for years in my columns because they are really hard to combat,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“The smart sea mines, they’re not indiscriminate, they only attack your enemy and they’re a good offensive weapon, you can sea mine your enemies’ ports or chokepoints, and they’re a good defensive weapon.”
