Shadow Health and Aged Care Minister Mark Butler says the Labor’s Medicare pledge will strengthen the service and cut the prices of medicines.

“Over the last few years, doctors’ groups, nurses, allied groups and patient groups, importantly, have worked hard to develop a strengthen Medicare … a ten year plan for primary care,” he said.

Mr Butler said in 2019 Scott Morrison pledged $450 million to the scheme and then “cut his own funding”. “That’s what they do to Medicare, they cut the funding and this year’s budget there was nothing about the implementation of this important plan to improve primary care other than, apparently, $500,000 for governance,” he said.

Mr Butler said Labor “will deliver the change patients need” and will improve access for patients and strength primary care.

Labor ‘must have been taking lessons from CNN’ to make election advertisementsIs this supposed to be some sort of put-down? 😂 The add where SCMO keeps saying ‘Not my job’ is rather deceitful, but half the lefts politics or maybe more is all about demonising their opposition and having a plan for a plan. It was the same with Biden. People should obviously vote as they wish, but always do your research Daisy once again proving that she isn't known for her intelligence
