Two Kmart workers at Australia's biggest shopping centre have tested positive to coronavirus. Kmart at Chadstone in Melbourne’s south-east confirmed the two cases on Tuesday before closing its doors for thorough cleaning.

A Kmart spokesperson said the two casual staff last worked at the store on Saturday, March 28. The positive diagnoses came after two workers at a Melbourne Coles supermarket also tested positive to COVID-19 on Monday. The two new cases bring the total number of known cases at major retailers to five.
