Mitchell Walsh’s rap sheet includes drink driving, speeding charges and driving unlicensed which in one instance led to him running down and killing a 10-year-old cyclist. 9News

One of Perth's worst drivers is back behind bars after adding more convictions to his appalling record.

Killer driver Mitchell Walsh was sentenced to 15 months' jail after being convicted of his 17th disqualified driving offence - adding to his long rap sheet of drink driving and speeding charges spanning over a decade. The 35-year-old, who ran down and killed 10-year-old cyclist Jess Meehan while three-times the limit in 2003, admitted to driving unlicensed four times in April and May this year.

One of Perth's worst drivers, Mitchell Walsh, is back behind bars after being convicted of his 17th driving offence. His defence lawyer claimed the media had "unfairly publicly shamed" his client, adding Walsh had never recovered from his involvement in the crash. But Magistrate Thomas Hall said he "wasn't doing himself any favours" continuing to break the law and still hadn't learned his lesson.

Blatant contempt for the law and any other human being 'NEVER TO BE RELEASED'

There's obviously no remorse, no hope of rehabilitation and nothing to prevent from continuing placing the public at risk. Keep him behind bars.

Visa applicants with a disability facing discrimination, 10 years after being promised changeAfter a hearing-impaired teenager was finally granted the right to stay in Australia, SBS News has found a 2009 bipartisan inquiry - that included Scott Morrison - ruled the Australian immigration health requirement to be discriminatory. Fantastic: bring to Australia people that cannot work, cannot look after themselves and then what: hospitals will be full, Nursing homes will be even worse than they are now and Medicare will be the highest burden in the economy. Silly ultra leftists don't have a brain?

10-year-old Willow may be left without a wheelchair under new NDIS rulesSally McShane's 10-year-old daughter Willow requires a paediatric wheelchair for multiple complex disabilities, but she is now worried she will not be able to afford a new chair for her child following eligibility changes to the NDIS. Another 'compassionate achievement' by the Liberals at State and Federal level. Shame on them!! The government care more for their non existant surplus than funding NDIS, they have witheld 1.6 bn to boost the surplus which they boast about, but it does not exist. That's bloody absurd
