Kerryn Phelps has conceded defeat to the Liberals’ Dave Sharma in the Sydney seat of Wentworth, wishing her replacement well in his new role and telling listeners she’s ‘proud’ of her record in parliament.
In her concession speech on Monday afternoon, Dr Phelps urged the new parliament to address climate change, prop up the national broadcaster, healthcare, education and address corruption in politics.
