Is Tracy Grimshaw on The ABC now?

not one mention that it cost an average of $15,500 to 'switch' for gas to electricity. hilarykharper beverlywang

So abc wants us to switch from gas powered homes to coal powered homes?

There should be far more indignation at the fact that we are forced to rush away from using gas when there is no action taken to stop gas exports irrespective of domestic needs.

Not keen and won't be!!

The ABC needs to get off the Jazz Cabbage

At least the gas still works when the power goes out

WTF The only other alternative is coal power

Eat biscuits and chocolate you won't need gas or electricty for that meal!

Hell no. Wouldn’t be without gas. It’s vastly superior for heating, cooking & hot water. Electricity just doesn’t cut it.

I read articles like this to find out how to cook my kilos and kilos of meat with the maximum possible emissions.

I can imagine in the future when 7 million Victorians come home after work in Winter, plug 5 million EV’s onto the grid to recharge, turn on their electric heaters to keep warm and use their electric ovens to cook all at the same time, generated by what? Wind? 🤣

Didn't the EU just rule that gas is a green energy source (nuclear too)? What have you got against green energy, ?

Ah, no.

I always thought gas stoves were better than electric. Mmm

Sorry Aunty, when I read this tweet/headline I thought you were referring to flatulence. Figured you were cooking up some miracle cure in the article.

Why Russia controls Europe's gas prices and what happens if Europe gets cut offEurope is on edge as Russia plans a shutdown of the gas pipeline that supplies much of the continent, so what does it mean for prices and future supply? War? A good lesson for Australia on how dependence on one country for something is incredibly dumb. Why? Because of blind climate change fanaticism among Europe's elites.
