Despite her African American heritage, Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris isn’t swaying the black community as many have issues with her history as a prosecutor. However, she rates well among white suburban women, a key demographic for both major parties.

As the race tightens between President Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in Georgia, the public perception of the government’s handling of COVID-19 has become an important issue for voters. The state of Georgia has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic and many African American voters are turning to the Democrats who are promoting a more cautious response.

KamalaHarris She’s NOT African American - she’s Indian / Jamaican - she’s pretending to be African American in a lame attempt to lure the African American vote - but it’s not working because she’s not likable at all.

Australia needs initiatives 'specifically targeted to help men's mental health' | Sky News AustraliaPsychologist Tanveer Ahmed says if the Morrison government wants to make progress in their goal of zero suicide, they need to “target their funding to male specific initiatives”.\n\nFigures released earlier this week showed men are killing themselves at higher rates than ever before and were now almost four times more likely to commit suicide than women.\n\n“What we’re not doing is recognising that suicide is mostly a male problem and targeting funding, messaging and policy accordingly,” Mr Ahmed said. \n\n“There’s recognition when we talk about issues like domestic violence that women are predominantly the victims. \n\n“The same doesn't happen with suicide. How much of this is because we just can’t see males as victims?”\n \nMr Ahmed said the feminist answer to the issue of male suicide, parroted by many men, is that “blokes need to be more like women, more vulnerable, seeking help through traditional outlets like counselling”. \n\n“This view also seeps into our institutions,” he said. \n\n“Is this really the answer? Granted, traditional masculinity has taken a great hit with social and economic changes- work with the hands is not as common, men are no longer naturally seen as providers and protectors.\n\n“There should be an onus on organisations to target blokes better, go to where they are and also do a better job at recruiting men into care giving roles. \n\n“Mateship and peer support for example have deep roots into the Australian psyche. Male only spaces are important. We must resist the cultural pressures to feminise.\n\n“There aren’t easy answers or silver bullets, but this week’s suicide figures scream for a greater, more specific focus on men.”\n\nAnyone who may be feeling distressed can contact the following organisations for support. \n\nSANE Helpline 1800 18 72 63 \n\nLifeline 131 114 \n\nBeyond blue 1300 22 4636\n Maybe get rid of your storm trooper police force as a start ... Victorians should remember 'what Andrews put them through with no medical evidence' | Sky News AustraliaNationals Senator Bridget McKenzie says Daniel Andrews “reckons the buck stops with him” and she is hopeful that come election time, Victorians will remember what he put them through “with no medical evidence”. \n\n“We’ve been COVID free for months, many of our districts have never had a COVID case in the whole eight months that we’ve seen this global pandemic on our shores, and yet we’ve had our kids unable to attend schools, we ‘ve had workers unable to get to work, we’ve had border restrictions and Dan’s got us wearing masks in public,” she told Sky News host Chris Smith. \n\n“I get that we’ve got to treat this virus seriously, it’s highly contagious, but we also need to do things sensibly.\n\n“I think Melbournians have been doing it incredibly tough and they’re not seeing reward for effort.\n\n“Our small business community as well is really feeling the pinch.\n\nMs McKenzie said it was “absolutely unconscionable” that in a liberal democracy, with all its checks and balances, minister after minister and departmental official after departmental official had been denying “who knew what, when”. \n\n“It’s only really been the media pursuing this as a means with an intensity that is starting to see real results and the real answers come out,” she said. \n\n“Our premier reckons the buck stops with him, and I’m hoping, come election time, Victorians will remember what he’s put them through -with no medical evidence.”\n McKenzie on sky news.... Obviously not someone to be taken seriously...
