Jurors in the murder trial of Jason Patterson have been shown recordings of police interviews conducted after killing his sister.
Mr Patterson is on trial in Sydney's Supreme Court after pleading not guilty to murdering his sister Jody James at Deniliquin in November 2021. The videos showed him telling attending officers he killed his sister because she was being controlled by a demon and he feared for his life."I'm not happy about it at all. It's supposed to be my f***ing sister."He spoke of a necklace in the house and a circle on the lawn, both of which he said were linked to "the Illuminati", and said his sister's hand was repeatedly transforming into the shape of a crab's claw.
