A federal judge dismisses a majority of claims that protesters forcefully removed from a Washington park before the then-president walked to a nearby church for a photo op had their civil rights violated.

A federal judge has dismissed a majority of claims that protesters forcefully removed from a Washington park, before then-president Donald Trump walked to a nearby church for a photo op, had their civil rights violated.

Judge Friedrich said it was premature for the court to conclude whether the actions of law enforcement officers were justified. Shortly after the protesters were removed, Donald Trump and officials walked over St John's Church for a photo opportunity.
