Flight JQ501 was due to depart from Sydney for Melbourne shortly after 6am on Tuesday morning, but crew members became concerned when a male passenger began acting strangely shortly before takeoff.
Those concerned then chose to disembark the plane, with one passenger telling the Today Show the situation was “pretty scary”. : A Jetstar flight from Sydney to Melbourne has been evacuated after a fight reportedly erupted between passengers - escalating further after conversations turned to the conflict in the Middle East."I was quite concerned, you don't expect this on a domestic flight in Australia,” said Scherri Simpson, a passenger on the flight.
When contacted for comment by SkyNews.com.au, a spokesperson for Jetstar clarified the plane hadn’t been evacuated, as reported by some news outlets earlier.
