Japan has backed Australia’s campaign against China’s economic coercion, warning the superpower’s strikes have undermined the international order | ErykBagshaw

Beijing has hit Australia with trade strikes covering more than $20 billion in exports over its calls for a coronavirus inquiry, business investment restrictions and public statements on human rights crackdowns in Hong Kong and Xinjiang.

For the first time, Australia and Japan also jointly identified Taiwan as a key flashpoint in global affairs by “underscoring the importance of peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait and encourage the peaceful resolution of cross-Strait issues”.The Chinese Communist Party views Taiwan, a democratic island of 24 million people, as a renegade province that must be united with the mainland.after Home Affairs Secretary Michael Pezzullo warned the “drums of war” were beating.

Foreign Minister Marise Payne and Defence Minister Peter Dutton, on screen, attend a video conference with Japan’s Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi and Defence Minister Nobuo Kishi on Wednesday. They singled out Xinjiang and Hong Kong as two areas of serious concern within China’s borders and called for independent inspectors to be allowed in to assess allegations of human rights abuse against the Muslim-minority Uighurs.

“In this context, we reiterate our concerns over China’s Coast Guard Law in the context of the South China Sea,” the joint statement said.

ErykBagshaw Bully would be a more accurate word over coercion. It’s like silent flatulent - people don’t know it till it hits them.

ErykBagshaw Let’s fight against China dictatorship

ErykBagshaw Who says that the US determines what the world order is. The US way of a world order is just a ponzi scheme where all the cash flows to the top. China has a new way of doing business.

ErykBagshaw Tell me how many Aussies had been killed by Japanese at WWII

ErykBagshaw We need to establish closer economic and military ties with Japan. Time to put china back in its box. Close all Chinese embassies and expel the staff.

ErykBagshaw Remember Japanese military was convinced of willingness of its people to go to any sacrifice for their nation, was contemptuous of the 'softness' of the U.S. & European democracies?! Yeah, they killed 10+ mill Chinese civilians, now a beacon of a pacifist free world, spare me 🙄

ErykBagshaw The US driven anti China policy only serves US interests as now it feels it's hegemony is challenged. The west criticizes Chinese investment in other countries but today Scott Morrison was promoting Australia's investments in infrastructure in other countries. They are liars.

ErykBagshaw Thanks. I will gratefully watch more hentai this weekend

ErykBagshaw Nice to have friends 👍
