'This is all about control”: Hundreds walk out of Janet Jackson concert in Perth

But the show went on, with the youngest Jackson sibling pulling out some of her family's infamous dance moves paired with tapping her crotch, reminiscent of the King of Pop.Getting past the lip-syncing issue, which I’m sure people up the back and in the stands wouldn’t have been able to notice, Jackson got the crowd grooving to her old bangersScream

with her late brother that got the biggest reaction. The iconic black and white film clip for the 1995 hit played on the massive screens bringing to life the siblings' duet, with the crowd joining in yelling "Stop pressurin' me". At one point she called on her brother, saying "Come on Michael" - but not even that, the pyrotechnics or the confetti could take away from the poor lip-syncing.

It was a disappointing end to an otherwise incredible start to the RnB Fridays Australian tour, with the Black Eyed Peas having warmed up the stage for Jackson with their newest female member, Jessica Reynoso from The Voice Philippines.

Stop perpetuating misinformation. We've seen tons of footage from the shows and we ALL know the truth, and that is NOT it.

Write about something you know!

Now, why would I believe you about this when in all the footage of the concert that I‘ve seen she was singing live? Hmm, I‘d have to be a tabloid eating trash can instead of a critical thinker to do so🤔

CEThomson you asked for the refund of the ticket?

A reviewer is entitled to their opinion. Lip syncing is not uncommon at all in this setting. If there was a 'mass exodus' I would put my money on the fact that the younger audience just weren't into her music and being the last act, they just left.

She is a freak

I don’t understand why fans would pay good money to see their “idols” lip sync to an MP3 track. Surely it’s cheaper to simply download the music video and watch it at home?

Hundreds...........I would of thought tens walk out at best

Easy money.

She was SINGING LIVE!!! Stop with the BS the Age!! Sick of the fake media. JanetJackson KILLED IT!!

Will Paul Stanley cop the same reaction

TheMJCast, true?

Must've been a microphone 'malfunction' this time around....

Heard she was 40 minutes late on stage. To me that is disrespectful to the fans who paid to see her.

Paedophile brother, lip-syncing Sister, abusive father.. top family.

She WAS singing live. There were elements of backing track vocals which is very common when you don't have backup singers on stage with you. Don't spread misinformation. The reason why some people left was because the young-majority crowd didn't know much of her.

Milli Vanilli sound engineering crew revived for Perth.

pandamanracing It’s been going on for ages. A human can’t sing and jump and dance etc etc while singing.

If you pay for a live performance then you should get a live performance. Lip syncing is cheating your fans.

ridiculous whats point of concert if they dont really sing
