Rioters looted and torched shops and businesses on the famed Champs-Elysees avenue in Paris on Saturday, on the 18th weekend of French 'yellow vest' protests.

Rioters looted and torched shops and businesses on the famed Champs-Elysees avenue in Paris on Saturday, on the 18th weekend of French"yellow vest" protests, characterised by a sharp increase in violence after weeks of dwindling turnout.

Saturday's turnout was seen a test of the ongoing strength of the movement, which began in November over fuel tax hikes and quickly ballooned into a rebellion against Macron's policies, seen by the protesters as geared towards the rich. The bank set alight was on the ground floor of an apartment building, and fire firefighters had to quickly evacuate the residents, including a nine-month-old baby. The violence left 17 members of the police injured, and 42 protesters, said police.

"There are a number of people who have come just to smash things," Castaner said, estimating that some 1,500"ultra violent" activists had infiltrated the crowd.

Paris breaks silence on Neverland docoParis Jackson has taken to Twitter to address the growing controversy surrounding allegations that her father sexually abused minors. The people that are claiming MJ abused them -once testified (under oath) that he did not. Therefore, they are (by definition) liars -they were either lying then, or they are lying now. I don't have any doubt the MJ was completely innocent of those charges -which were vindictive🕊️

MJ’s kids are considering suing the accusers from Leaving NeverlandFollowing the airing of the explosive documentary Leaving Neverland, Michael Jackson’s kids — Prince, Paris and Prince Michael Jackson II, aka “Blanket” — are considering filing a lawsuit against alleged sexual abuse victims Wade Robson and James Safechuck. I don’t blame them. They were why I didn’t like the thought of the doco. Was always going to hurt them. They don’t deserve that they already lost their dad. Are you guys done with milking Michael Jackson stories yet? He was a filthy rock spider that abused boys, and some paedophile sympathizer says 'I don't blame the offspring for wanting to sue the very children their father abused, because their abusing father already died' are you serious. What's wrong with people?!
