Sky News host Rita Panahi says many children are attracted to the lifestyle rather than the ideas pushed by celebrities such as Greta Thunberg who numbers among the Childhood heroes of today.

Sky News host Rita Panahi says many children are attracted to the lifestyle rather than the ideas pushed by celebrities such as Greta Thunberg who number among the Childhood heroes of today. Many kids may aspire to be like Greta not because “the subject of the activism interests them” but due to all the “accolades and adulation that come with it,” Ms Panahi said.

“She’s only 16 yet she’s met world leaders, she’s spoken at the United Nations, she’s fated as a star with some of the most famous people in the world”. According to Sky News host James Morrow, today’s sports stars, actors, celebrities or musicians “are political woke” and often are “sunk in some mire of moral turpitude”. Mr Morrow said he “found all this very distasteful when he was young”.

When I hear the word celebrity next Greta, it makes my skin crawl. Maybe she should focus on school as the crap she’s learning is judging the clout she has currently going on in her head. The world has gone to crap

Extract - Mr Morrow said he “found all this very distasteful when he was young”. Mr Morrow given that you are a graduate from one of the more prestigious private universities in the US, I think your childhood experiences have very little relevance to average Australian.

I’m fairly sure every one is attracted to some sort of lifestyle. Many spend their lives hanging shit on children. Your commentary is not backed by any expertise or evidence. It’s deliberately divisive for vested interests.

No, you numpties, we literally just want an inhabitable environment. How can you be so braindead as to not realise that?

This is one contributor of twitter not drawn to this upstart whose made mega bucks for her dumb appearances round the world.👎😠

Ok boomer

Oh fck her!...this kid is a waste of space!

Every child dreams of sailing around the world on a boat instead of a plane and sitting on the ground outside buildings in cold and wet weather for hours on end to make adults take action

It's also peer acceptance

Who is this girl seems familiar

Why is Panahi a Murdoch sycophant?
